Role and remit
As co-founder and CTO, Tharindu is responsible for Orion: its product architecture, the automation it provides, and the operating model that will support a practice's systems and staffing after an acquisition. Orion is designed to support accountants, who review, approve and remain responsible for the work throughout.
What he focuses on at Vantrex
Since Vantrex has not yet completed an acquisition, this work is currently at the build and planning stage: developing Orion against the real controls and workflows accountants use, deciding which parts of a practice's operating model should change and which should stay exactly as they are, and setting out the venture's technology plans clearly to owners and potential investors.
How he works with practice owners
Where an owner wants detail on what would change after completion, Tharindu is typically the person who explains the intended operating model: which parts of Orion would be introduced, over what period, and how the existing team would be supported through that change rather than replaced by it.
