Role and remit
As co-founder and CEO, Vidun is responsible for Vantrex's acquisition pipeline, its relationships with capital partners, and how the group engages with practice owners and their advisers. That covers the first conversation with an owner, the way an indicative proposal is put together, and the commercial strategy that guides which practices Vantrex pursues.
What he focuses on at Vantrex
Vantrex is at an early stage, so much of the current work is about establishing how the venture engages with the market before its first acquisition: setting out clear acquisition criteria, being straightforward about what Vantrex can and cannot offer, and building the relationships with owners, intermediaries and investors that the first acquisition will depend on.
How he works with practice owners
Conversations with owners are treated as confidential from the outset. Vidun's approach is to understand what a good outcome looks like for the owner, their team and their clients before discussing structure or price, and to be direct when a practice or a timeline is not a fit for Vantrex.
